Hello, our case discussion is about a patient with stroke resulting to right homonymous hemianopsia. What main blood supply of the brain is most likely affected? PCA or MCA? Thank you :)
Left optic tract is affected so because the blood supply of the optic tract is supplied by thalamic perforators of the posterior cerebral artery and branches of the anterior choroidal artery off the internal carotid artery. Then the answer is PCA.
