Hello if you take blood pressure on the right hand or left hand ๐ it is different or same measurs ๐ง
I remember the right arm would have a higher bp due to artery structural differences
However should take BP of lower limbs too and R/O coarctation of aorta.
They should be relatively similar in assessment. If one is vastly higher or lower than the other, called pulsus paradoxus which is a possible sign of an aortic aneurysm. Generally blood pressure if measured with a cuff sized appropriately for the upper arms either left or right. preference should be for whatever arm is healthier, ie avoid the side that is weak due to history of a stroke or has poor blood flow from previous injury, etc.
