Head transplant performed in rehesus monkey was a great success! BUT WILL IT BE THE SAME THING WITH HUMAN???

I've heard that the plans have changed and it is going to be performed in China!And the man shown in the photo above who was supposed to have his head transplanted is not going to be operated!:o There is some other patient,however it is all not sure yet

That's right: China is going to finance this project (11 million euros) so they decided that the patient will be Chinese, not Spiridonov and the surgery will take about 36 hours + 150 doctors in the OR

What's an example where a head transplant would be needed? Just curious

The guy in the above image is suffering from severe muscle dystrophy so as in future he would not be able to lead a normal life so head transplant is needed there.
