Why do obese people eat a lot despite the fact that they are fat?

Habbit and their stomach has got used to the amount of food they have so if they wanted to eat less etc they could under go surgery

I think it has to do with the relative insensitivity to insulin. Obese people generally have some degree of insulin insensitivity so the glucose they have is not able to sustain them and so they keep eating a lot.
