What better way to learn about the human muscles then having a cat to lend you a hand. for the next couple weeks I will be doing a cat and mink dissertation to learn all about the muscle and tendons in comparison to the human body. so thankful to be able to go threw is in high school and getting hands on experience.
This to me is very odd in high school. I understand it in veterinary school. What is the rationale for a cat?
the dissection is to help us compare and contrast the muscles in the cat and how they relate to the human muscles. it all about observation and getting to know more about our bodies. we also dissected a pig heart and had an oral test. we had to name everything from blood flow in and out, down to the heart stings or tendons.
