Damage from weeping edema

Damage from weeping edema

87 yr old female with venous insufficiency who has excessive draining or weeping edema. These wounds have been caused by the skin being constantly moist from weeping edema. Wound care includes: saline wash, dry gauze in conjunction with triple antibiotic ointment and gauze wrap. She also putting edema to the bilateral feet and legs for which she is taking lasix.
