Do you know how it occurred? It could have been some sort of insect bite, a wound that became infected, or some sort of skin infection/disease
hm, might be an ingrown hair? most likely pluck the hair if found, apply hot compress, then extract and clean
No the patient has no history of any insect bite or a wound but he says that the same kinda swelling occurred at different parts of both of his thigh and legs but all of them tried to peep out but they got dried and this was the swelling with which he came to me ryt now
I guess It's just a single boil under the skin of the leg over the gastronemius muscle not a collection of boils (or carbuncle)
In this case a Full history of the patient is necessary ....It can be a steph inflection,...washing the area with antibacterial and applying antibiotic ointment will help .Also taking antibiotics
