The terminal ileum is more commonly involved because of the various contributing factors like stasis, presence of abundant lymphoid tissue, increased rate of absorption at this site and closer contact of the bacilli with the mucosa.

Ys ..ileocecal region is the first foremost to be affected...there are some factors which favors the bacterial growth

In my country in Germany TBC outside the lung is very seldom.Last year I had my first patient in my medical life.He had A node TbC No other tissue was attached. The patient was from India. Therefore I, m amazed over the App.I can learn!!!
