MR Spine Imaging – FastDixon @ Siemens 1.5T Aera Fast dixon option is great, but remember use it with care. Upper row images fast dixon was on, but FOV phase had over 100%. In other words, I used 280mm FOV, but acquired 370mm by using over 100% FOV phase. Seems like fast dixon option can’t handle this for spine imaging in sagittal plane. Lower row, same acquired FOV 370mm, but fast dixon option OFF. Just a reminder if you get such artifacts.
