7 years old girl developed hearing impairment and has History of mouth breathing and nasal obstruction for last 6 months.. If possible explain the features in the picture too.. Answer on 17 October
Protruded upper jaw and small anterior nostrils Absent naso labial fold All these features suggest adenoid that cause SOM which leads to decrease hearing
Features of adenoid facies: 1) Prominent upper incisor teeth. 2) Pinched nose 3) Dull facial expression 4) Mouth breathing 5) Dribbling of saliva from the mouth. 6) Rounded shoulder. 7) Flat chest. 8) Spongy gum.
Don't know the name... But know the mechanics. The suture joints that provide neural access for the facial nerves; fuse too early. Constructed neural pathways and blood flow, creates this condition.
