Can rigor mortis set up in paralysed limb?

Rigor mortis is not functionally related to nervous system. It is based on amount of ATP and glycogen present in muscle tissue...even the paralyzed muscles also contain some amount of glycogen and ATP we can see rigor mortis even in paralysed limb. Ref:Bardale book of forensic science

I believe not since the nerves, preexisting in the limb, are not functioning.
