
Cardiac positioning @ Siemens Be careful positioning the cardiac at centre for optimal cardiac imaging. This localizer shows how near the artifacts are towards cardiac just because the iso centre is too far away from the cardiac. It doesn’t help to move your FOV in the middle of the cardiac, due to table positing REF/FIX. Why don’t we always use ISO to avoid such problem? We could, but that might not be a smart idea. Between those different cardiac planes, there would then be small table movements and you might have to shim every time. To avoid this, you can run a new localizer @centre (this will reposition your table positioning for being in the middle of the cardiac, or just repositioning the patient with laser light inside the scanner.#Siemens_MRI #siemens #mri #cardiac
