To do, or not to do…… This image shows the Primovist/Eovist effect when doing MRCP after given this agent, you get signal drop in the biliary system. Some paper says you are safe within 3-5min by doing MRCP after given this contrast. Some recommend not to do MRCP as post contrast. Personally, I strongly advice not to, a lot of things can go wrong by doing it post contrast. What if patient have an inconsistent breathing pattern, and you need to redo the scan… well time have already passed and you too late then. Really, what do you save in time by doing MRCP as post contrast? I guess not much. Because in the waiting period of hepatobiliary phase (20min post contrast) you already used some time from the dynamic, and can carry on with a good DWI + 2D/3D TSE FS. This will fill your time perfectly and you’re much safer with pre MRCP.#Siemens_MRI #siemens #mri #primovist #gadolinium #abdominal_liver
