Patient with vertebral metastasis
Figure shows a patient with vertebral metastasis (Th12). Multiparametric imaging (based on anatomical and functional imaging) can solve the clinical question without the need of Gadolinium. SS-EPI DWI is not ideal for spine imaging due to issues of susceptibility artifacts and distortions, but it's possible with proper optimization of the sequence.
