Happy Birthday, Nikola Tesla! Born in 1856 in Smijan, Croatia, Tesla is best known for his research in the field of electromagnetism. But many people don’t know he also produced the United States' first x-ray image using a vacuum tube while trying to obtain an image of Mark Twain.
