Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is used to evaluate random, microscopic water motion within tissue, well known as Brownian motion. RESOLVE (figure) can be applied in head and neck MR Imaging for several clinical indications, providing higher image quality with less distortions and image blurring compared to SS-EPI, in reasonable acquisition times.
