Subconjunctival Hemorrhage

Subconjunctival Hemorrhage

It is bleeding from subconjuctival vessels that is a benign self limited process, usually seen after over exertion but patient may not be aware of inciting trauma. Symptoms are painless, bright red patch on sclera. Treatment is by observation as it resolves in 2-8 days.
