Vestibular System

Vestibular system is responsible for maintaining bodys balance and also responsible for vestibular occular reflexes. It is formed of two parts, the first part is 3 semicircular canals in which they have hair cells that respond to angular acceleration/declaration of head. The second part is urticle and saccule in which they contain hair cells that are responsible for linear acceleration and force of gravity. This diagram shows the vestibular system anatomy.
