3,300 year-old skull

This skull is 3,300 year-old, it was discovered by a team of archeologists in the egyptian city of amarna. It belongs to an egyptian woman that was not mummified but only wrapped in a mat. Another 28 skull were also found in this excavation, the hairstyle was variable. Fat was frequently used as a styling product and henna was used as to hide any stray grey hair or mainly changes in hair color.Photo by drlindseyfitzharris
