89-year-old male patient, came with a horrible (sharp) pain near his chest. Assuming he was experiencing a heart attack, decided to come to the emergency room. There were no apparent abnormal health problems; his cholesterol and pressure were stable. However, a CT-scan revealed an enlarged gallbladder FULL OF STONES⦠to describe them, they are solid as a rock, and it was at least 10cm long and 7cm in width
What type of stones were found? Calcium , pigment stones or mixed ?
Can any Expert Dr advise what to do initially if one is diagonized having stones in Gall bladder? Any medicines r there to get the stones pulverized like kidney stones? Any alternative other than going for surgery?
