The foetus's eye, nose and hands are visible.The eighth week of pregnancy represents the end of the formative developmental stage, and the embryo becomes a foetus. All major organ systems are formed by the eighth week, but require much growth since the foetus is only about 3 centimetres in crown-rump length.

The fetuses eyes are interesting! According to some scientists they believe eyes evolved around 500 million years ago. They are an example of convergent evolution and evolved several different times. Insects have different eye structures than camera type eyes that humans have. Just an interesting tidbit to share. (Sorry I don't have a citation for the information)

The fetus is already opening his or her eyes and by this time alot of fetal movement and they can even suckle their own thumb
