Benign are differentiated,non invading tumor and malignant are poorly differentiated, invading tumor.

Benign are not harmful and does not spread while malignant is harmful and travels.

Cancel cells are of two types, benign and malignant...the benign cells are stationary and cause tumor in a perticular region only where as malignant cells are not definite to a perticular region,it spreads to near by organs also, even after operating sometimes
