Hello, i am confused about staning of bacteria. Are gram positive or gram negative bacteria are harmfull?

Gram positive have thick wall or peptidoglycan a glycoprotein stained crystal violet while gram negative does the opposite. Gram positive bacteria are staphylococcus, streptococcus and enterococcus. The good part of gram positive is that we easily detect them by simple stain by crystal violet.. Gram negative has to be lysed, digest the outer membrane so can be stained by safranin or fuchsine... There are also other stains I mentioned the simplest ones. Dyes are classified as acidophilic (light pink) and bosophilic (purple=glycoproteins)

Yes in both types they are some bacteria which are harmful.Gram staining is based about a type of classification of bacteria based on the bacteria’s property
