in cushing syndrome over secreation of cortecosteroids leads to moon like face bufflo like hump. In cushing diseass due to adenoma in pituatary gland which leads to overproduction of cortecosteroids

I remember it this way...Cushing disease is when a person has the high level of cortisol and Syndrome is when patient has features of the disease due to the high levels of cortisol
