What is the rationale of using beta blocker and beta agonist in CHF? Since beta blocker blocks the receptor where do the beta agonists act then?

Beta blocker do act on receptors and block it for the action but the drug have a particular time of action as the time of action and the drug is broken down into least toxin and excreted through your kidney
