1. Nature and Objectives of the Program
- The Ambassadors Program is a program that involves students and health care professionals, hereby referred to as “Ambassadors”, who are interested in representing MEDizzy among their colleagues or faculty.
- The program has as its main goal to enlarge MEDizzy’s network, in order to make it accessible to as many students and health care professionals as possible.
2. Call for Ambassadors
- The program involves a “Call for Ambassadors”, which is composed of an advertisement of the Program and its registration. This will happen between 12.09.2022 and 30.09.2022. The registration will open on 12.09.2022 at 8 AM GMT+1 and close on 30.09.2022 at 12AM GMT+1.
- To register as an Ambassador, any interested person should fill in the form designed for the effect, which can be found both on the MEDizzy website and App — https://medizzy.com/ — and subsequently on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn).
3. Selection
- For each institution, there will be a maximum of 5 ambassadors.
- For universities, preference will be given to having ambassadors from different school years.
- For hospitals, preference will be given to having ambassadors from different specialties.
- The selection process will be based on the motivation, interest and capability of the applicant to complete the ambassador’s tasks.
4. Benefits
- A letter of recommendation will be given to every ambassador, who achieves 75 points, at their request, if their actions represent what MEDizzy stands for.
- The ambassador may be awarded a premium MEDizzy app subscription (1 month, 3 months or 1 year). This amount is decided according to the following rules:
- If an ambassador achieves 75 points, they will be awarded with 1 month premium subscription.
- If an ambassador achieves 150 points, they will be awarded with 3 months premium subscription.
- If an ambassador achieves 500 points, they will be awarded with 1 year premium subscription, a $25 Amazon voucher and an interview for MEDizzy Journal.
- The scoring system is based on the following criteria:
- Fifty points will be awarded to an ambassador every time they organize or arrange a workshop with the purpose of improving medical knowledge and education.
- Twenty-five points will be awarded to an ambassador when they present us with an original article of their own or by a colleague to our Medical Journal.
- Twenty points will be awarded to an ambassador when a person buys premium access using their ambassador code.
- Fifteen points will be awarded to an ambassador if he/she makes a testimonial video.
- Ten points will be awarded to an ambassador if a person inserts their ambassador code when downloading the app.
- Five points will be awarded every time the ambassador shares a MEDizzy publication or a MEDizzy Journal Article on their social media (Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn), up to one publication per day.
5. Procedures
- If accepted as an Ambassador, the person will be contacted by the MEDizzy Institutional Partnerships Team in order for their information to be collected.
- An ambassador code will be generated to each ambassador.
- Fifty percent discount will be given to every person who inserts an ambassador code when buying the premium access to MEDizzy app (ambassador included).
- A free week of premium access to MEDizzy app will be given for every new account registered, to every person who inserts an ambassador code.
- It will be the MEDizzy Institutional Partnerships Team’s responsibility to assure that the person is performing in the adequate way as an Ambassador.
- If someone applies to become an Ambassador but does not show an appropriate degree of commitment or their actions do not represent what MEDizzy stands for, the MEDizzy Institutional Partnerships Team has the right to refuse to acknowledge said person as an Ambassador and they will not be eligible for the benefits of the Ambassador Program.
- The ambassador will be responsible for letting us know about the posts they have created to promote MEDizzy, by filling in an excel sheet that will be provided upon acceptance.
- The points are cumulative and will be reset when an ambassador reaches 500 points.
6. Omissions
- All the omissive questions in this regulation shall be deliberated by the current MEDizzy Institutional Partnerships Team, which hold the final word regarding any additional business.
